1, 2, 3, smile!

What do models do in front of the camera? That is to smile.
What do toothpaste and mouthwash endorsers do? That is to smile.
What do sales agents do as they walk to their clients? That is to smile.
What do receptionists do form the first time a customer enter the lobby? That is to smile.
What do artists do in front of their wailing fans? That is still to smile.

Let us look what one would do in different situations.

When one is down, what will he usually do? That is to smile.
When one is in an awkward situation, what would he usually do? That is to smile.
When one has nothing to say, what would he usually do? That is to smile.
When one is sad, what would he usually do? That is to smile.
When one is happy, what would he usually do? That is clearly to smile.

And the list goes on and on and on. A never ending answer of smile. Today, smile seems to be the answer to everything we do, doesn’t it?

Smile has many benefits. Biologically speaking, frowning is easier to do since it would just take less than 10 facial muscles to be formed. But, smile is more beneficial since it would exercise at most 17 muscles in your face. Who wouldn’t want a simple facial exercise?? Psychologically speaking, a person who is always seen smiling is said to have a healthier emotional health. Maybe because people who always smile emits a colorful aura. They make everybody in their range to be at ease. They make everybody to be comfortable and happy. In other words, SMILE is a CONTAGIOUS disease but in a good way.

Let us take it to my own perspective. Smiling has always been a part of my daily routine. From the time I wake up till I fall to sleep, some of my friends said that I am smiling while sleeping. But what they don’t know, SMILE is my best friend. It is my best mascara. People see me as a happy person. That is because I always smile. But smiling is also tiring for me. In times that I am down, I smile and tell everybody I’m okay. In times I am not well I always flash these teeth. In times I am not okay, I just keep on smiling. My smile never weaver.  Yes, I do have  a lot of friends but, I need a friend who will understand my smile. That is if there anybody out there who could. This is what smiling is for me. What about yours?
